Special Events:
a) Felicitation of RKMVERI by the Government of Jharkhand

We feel delighted to share that our esteemed RKMVERI has been felicitated by the Dept. of Higher, Technical
Education and Skill Development, Govt. of Jharkhand for securing A++ grade in NAAC assessment. Swami
Bhaveshananda, Administrative Head, Faculty of ARTD received the award on behalf of the RKMVERI
from the honourable Minister of Education, Govt. of Jharkhand, Dr (Mrs.) Neera Yadav.
b) Annual Cultural Programme - UMANG
Like every year, the Faculty centre organized annual cultural programme titled Umang on Februray 1,
2020. Sri Ravi Ranjan, Director, State Institute of Rural Development, Ranchi was the chief guest on the
occasion. The students of different batches performed dances, songs, skit, live art etc. making the evening
really colorful. On the occasion, best student of every batch and the best student of the campus were
awarded based on their last year’s performance in scholastic and non-scholastic activities.
c) Alumni Meet 2020:

The third Alumni Meet was held at the Faculty of ARTD on 2 February, 2020. The programme was graced
by several dignitaries including Revered Swami Bhaveshananda Maharaj, Administrative Head, Faculty of
ARTD, RKMVERI, Dr. S.K. Barnwal, IAS, Govt. of Jharkhand, Sri Prashant Das, Chief Field Officer, UNICEF,
Ranchi and Ms Dipti Diana Kullu, HR Manager, JSLPS. Alumni meet strated with formal registration at 9
am. The registration team was headed by Dr. Sudarsan Biswas and Sri Supratim Patra. A total member of
67 alumni attended the programme from different parts of India.
Other Events

I. The Faculty Members, staff and students participated in the Independence Day celebration organized
at Divyayan Campus on 15 August, 2019.
ii. Vidyarthi Vrata – A traditional initiation ceremony for the freshers was organized on 19.8.2019.
