National Youth Day Celebration
National Youth Day-2020 was celebrated by the
Ashrama with great joy and enthusiasm to mark
the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda on
12th January 2020. The celebration was organized
through series of programmes like rally, garlanding
of Swamiji’s statue and an awareness-cum-cultural
programme.
Garlanding of Swamiji’s statue at RKMVERI campus
and rally : The event was started with garlanding of
Swamiji’s statue at Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda
Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI)
campus of our Ashrama at 7-15am followed by a
rally from RKMVERI University campus to Morabadi
ground. The rally was participated by the students Inauguration of the National Youth Day Programme
of RKMVERI, trainees of Divyayan, devotees and admirers of the Ashrama. Students and trainees holding
placards with the Swamiji’s sayings and ranting the air with slogans rallied through the main road of
Morabadi to create awareness among the youth about their immense power which is already within them.
Garlanding of Swamiji’s Statue at MECON Square : Swamiji’s statue at MECON square was garlanded
by monks of this Ashrama, Sri Ashok Kumar Tyagi, Chairman-cum-Managing Director, Mecon and other
guests. Swami Bhaveshananda, Secretary of this Ashrama attended the garlanding ceremony at Vikash
Bharati Campus, Bariatu Road, Ranchi also in the morning and attended the huge conference which was
presided over by the Hon’ble Governor of Jharkhand at 1-00pm in the same campus.
Rally Organised on the Occasion of National Youth Day
Awareness-cum-cultural Programme : A special awareness-cum-cultural programme was organised
in the RKMVERI, Morabadi campus from 10 am to 12 noon where around 1100 participants including
students of various schools of Ranchi city, students from rural schools, students of RKMVERI, devotees,
staff members of RKMVERI and Divyayan KVK, admirers of the Ashrama and general public watched the
programme. Smt. Anubha Rawat Choudhary, Honorable Justice, Jharkhand High Court was the chief
guest of the occasion and Dr Sunil Kumar Barnwal, I.A.S., was the guest of honour, Swami Bhaveshananda,
Secretary, of this Ashrama presided over the function of the occasion. The programme included speech,
dance, song, short play, yoga all dedicated to the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
At the end of the programme food packets and a set of books related to life and teachings of Swami
Vivekananda were distributed to all the participants.
National Youth Day Programme in Different Educational Institutes and Rural Area
Apart from the above said events the National Youth Day programmes were held at the following places
