a spiritual retreat was organized for the devotees. In
addition to this, two special Bhakta Samellans were
also conducted on 17th November, 2019 and on 15th
March 2020.
Sarva Dharma Sammelan : To commemorate 125th
Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s world famous
speech at Chicago on 11th September, 1893, where
Swamiji represented India and Hinduisim, this
Ashrama organized Sarva Dharma Sammelan on the
theme “ Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Address”. The
sammelan was addressed by the eminent speakers
like Dr. O. P. Sharan, Prof. Giridhari Ram Ghanju,

Educational and Research Institute (RKMVERI)
presented beautiful skit on Harmony of Religions.

Guru Nanak Jayanti : Guru Nanak Jayanti was
celebrated in the Ashrama auditorium on 12th
Nov., 2019. The celebration was started with Vedic
Chanting. Prof. Harminder Bir Singh, Ex-secretary of
Gurudwara, Main Road, Ranchi, was the chief guest
of the occasion. He spoke on the life and teachings

of Gurunanak Dev. Swami Atmapriyananda, Vice
Chancellor, RKMVERI;, Swami Bhaveshananda,
Secretary of this Ashrama, Swami Antarananda,
Asst. Secretary of this Ashrama addressed the
gathering. Around 300 devotees, admirers students
of RKMVERI and trainees of Divyayan participated in
the programme. Students of RKMVERI also presented
speech on the life and teachings of Gurunanak Dev.
At the end of the programme all the participants
partook the prasad.

Karma Puja Celebration
Karma Puja : Karma Puja, the festival of worshiping
nature was celebrated in the Ashrama and Divyayan
premises on 09 th September, 2019. In the afternoon
programme, Smt. Asha Lakra, Mayor, Ranchi
Municipal Corporation was the Chief Guest. While
addressing the participants, she said that the Karma
festival reminds us to show gratitude towards the
nature and our actions (Karam) should be based on
moral values (Dharam). The students of RKMVERI
also presented a Skit on the Story of Karma Festival.
