           Marketing Support

Regarding the marketting aspects, the most serious problem faced by organic farmers was vegetable price
instability and they were not getting premium price of their organic product at early stage of production.
To overcome these problems the KVK established successful linkages between organic grower and organic
buyer like ‘NATURE CART’ after which they are getting premium price for their organic produce i.e. 10 -20
% higher than local mandi price.

           Uptake, Spread and Benefits
Presently 56 farmers from these villages are doing organic farming. 29 farmers of Nagrabera village
of Angara Block are adopted under organic cluster development programme in the year 2019-20 with
financial support of KVK-TSP. Apart from the KVK had already developed organic cluster at Dhurleta and
adjacent villages Budhakocha and Piprabera in 2017. 91 farmers of these villages are certified organic
grower (certified by National Centre of Organic Farming- PGS India Organic in 2018). All these villages
are in the same route and we propose to make an organic route for easy marketting and convenience in
           transportation of organic produce.
